Book Club Update...

I have thought about it and I really would like Prince Caspian to be the first book for our book club selection. The Chronicles of Narnia is such a wonderful series of books and though many people think of the books as children's books, I feel like there are so many symbols that are so important to find as an adult. So, starting in September we will start reading Prince Caspian. I think that many people will have seen the movie by then as well which we can also compare and contrast.

So, my next step for forming the book club starts with getting people signed up! I am going to design a poster and let everyone know the plan. And, everyone who signs up for the book club gets a 25% discount off of each months book selection.


I also need to figure out our first meeting time as well. I am so glad we are doing this. To be completely honest with you I don't have much time to read, but I really want to. I love to read. Before I had Morgan I could go through a book in just a couple of days! Now, my time is spent in other ways, but I feel like taking 1 book a month is enough time for each selection that we won't feel so stressed out and rushed through each title!
