Weekly Newsletter...

Hey everyone! I hope you are having another wonderful week! We have been busy here at the store getting out new items, rearranging (again), and decorating the store to get ready for Easter. And each day, I just keep thinking we are one day closer to spring! I am sooooooo ready for it! (The picture above is what I wish it was like outside so I could be doing that!)

The bible verse this week I wanted to put because of the book I am reading. Twelve Extraordinary Women is a wonderful book sudying the 12 most extraordinary women from the bible. As I was reading about Hannah, I was so intrigued and in awe of her grace. Ths is a part of Hannah's prayer rejoicing in the Lord after she was graced with a child...

There is no one holy like the LORD;
there is no one besides you;
there is no Rock like our God. 1 Samuel 2:2

It is sometimes too easy to forget to give thanks to the Lord for what we have, when all we have is from him...
This week is a shortened newsletter with not 1, not 2, but 3 healthy, easy, yummy recipes!!! SO read ahead and take care! Oh, and don't forget to take the new poll to the right!-------->

Find rest, O my soul, in God alone; my hope comes from Him. He alone is my rock and my salvation; He is my fortress, I will not be shaken. Psalm 62:5-6

A MURDER AT INTERMISSION How could a killer have struck in a crowded theater? That was the question plaguing TV news reporter Dani Richards. She'd been in the box next to the victim -- and hadn't heard or seen a thing. Now the very man who broke Dani's heart years ago is investigating the murder. And when her coverage of the story led the killer to stalk her, police officer and former flame Caleb Jamison insisted on protecting her. Dani was afraid to let Caleb close again. Yet she had no choice. The killer's sinister phone calls left no doubt that he'd come for Dani next.Romantic Times gave this book four stars!!!

Recipes

Ok, I am on Weight Watchers and I will admit that the hardest thing for me not to eat is desserts. I want them all the time. So, I wanted to post these lowfat recipes and easy recipes I found that will help me conquer my cravings!

Yum Yum Brownie Muffins-from Hungry Girl

(1 Muffin, or 3 minis - 181 calories, 3.5g fat, 37g carbs, 2g, fiber, 2g protein - 4 WW points)
This super-simple 2-ingredient recipe is a Weight Watchers Fave!
1 box devil’s food cake mix
1 can solid pack pumpkin (15 oz.)

Directions:Mix the two ingredients together. Don't add anything else that may be mentioned on the box, such as eggs, oil, or water. The mixture will be very thick and you will be tempted to add in other things to make the batter smoother. DO NOT DO THIS AS IT WILL RUIN EVERYTHING! Place batter into muffin tins (or mini muffin tins) lined with paper, or sprayed with non-stick spray. Bake at 400 degrees for 20 minutes. Makes 12 regular or 36 mini muffins.
