I have lots of fun things to talk about this week. One being that my sister, my Mom, and I took my niece and daughter to see Santa on Monday. Well, my niece seemed to love him, but Morgan wasn't so happy about it. She was cool with standing in front of him to talk to him, but she did not want to go anywhere near his lap! She is loving Christmas this year though. We put up our tree and she loves to look at it! She is loving all the fun Christmas movies on TV and loves looking at all the decorations in the stores! I love watching her having so much fun. It truly is wonderful!

This is the last chance for all you adults out there to take this years Christmas Card class here at Kira's Cottage. The class is this Saturday, December 13 from 10am-12pm. Sign up Now!

Did you know?

Recipe: Meatball Appetizer
MEATBALLS WITH SWEET & SOUR SAUCE
Ingredients:3 or 4 lb. ground beef
grape jelly
ketchup
non-stick vegetable spray
Use large baking sheets that have sides to catch the grease. Vegetable spray the pans well. Roll the ground beef into balls about the size of walnuts and place 2" apart on the sheets. Bake at 450 degrees until brown and done. Drain on paper towels. Keep warm. In a saucepan, heat equal amounts of ketchup and grape jelly until they are blended well. Use toothpicks to dip the meatballs into the sauce. Delicious with any meatball recipe. If you want to make it even easier, just use the frozen meatballs from the grocery!
Come back next week to peek at a new recipe that is one of my favorite appetizer recipes! It is soooo easy and really yummy! (Warning: Next weeks recipe is fattening, but it sure is good!)
Starting in January, I am going to try to start posting more lower fat but still delicious recipes. And don't worry, they will still be super quick and easy!
Also, don't forget to check my blog throughout the week for new postings. Come back on Friday for another Fun Friday contest! Congratulations to Stacy for winning last weeks contest! She won a t-shirt from Kira's Cottage!

The meatballs are even easier if you just throw everything in the crockpot and heat it up like that. And you thought I couldn't cook!
