Second Saturday Storytime!

We are starting something new for 2011 at Kira's Cottage Christian Store called 2nd Saturday Storytimes! Included will be a story, short bible lesson, and an art lesson! We will have themes like patience, sharing, loving..etc with great storybook friends from Veggie Tales, Berenstein Bears, Hermie and Friends and more! This will be geared for children 4+. For only $5, it is a great activity for your kids! This will start on Sat. January 8 @ 11am and will last approx. 45mins. For our first "Second Saturday Storytime" we will celebrate how much God Loves us just the way we are! Our story will be We're All God's Creatures by Karen Hill. We will talk about different animals and what makes them different from eachother. Then we will discuss how God made us all different for a reason. Then our art lesson will be learning to draw a creature that is so different that he has the longest neck on the earth, a giraffe!
