I just finished a beautiful story by Max Lucado called The Crippled Lamb. This is not a new book at all, but we got a new copy of it in the store the other day, so I wanted to check it out.
The story is about a little lamb who feels left behind because he different from everyone else. The others even make him feel bad because he is so different. He just doesn't understand why God made him different.
But what you learn in the story is how his differences gave him the greatest gift of all and one of the most important jobs he would ever have.
Isn't that like us...questioning why God made us the way we are. Why am I so short? Why are my feet so big? Why am I bigger than the rest? Why did this happen to me?
Well, this story shows that we are not alone. No matter what happens...there is a plan that God has laid out for us, we just have to trust Him. And no matter how lonely we feel or how desperate we feel, God loves us and wants the best for us. So while we are wondering..."Why?" God knows the answer!
