Peppermint Patty Mints
1/3 cup soft butter
1/3 cup light corn syrup
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. flavoring and/or coloring
3 1/2 cup (1 lb. ) sifted confectioner's sugar
Measure all the ingredients into the large bowl. Stir until stiff, then knead it until the dough is smooth. Pinch off pieces, roll into balls, and press lightly with the bottom of a glass. Refrigerate 30 minutes.
