We have some wonderful events coming up in August you much check out! I am excited about our recipe swap on Saturday August 23. Just bring in your favorite quick/easy recipe and I will give you one too. All recipes will be posted on our blog or newsletter. And...get this...when you bring in a recipe, you get a discount on all purchases made at Kira's Cottage on Saturday August 23! You will also get to sample my recipe and you can enter to win a prize pack of yummy gourmet goodies! I am hoping I can talk my sister into giving me her chocolate fudge recipe. We shall see! I hope you all can come!
We will be taking down our Hawaiian decorations in the next week. When we had our luau in May, I thought it was fitting to just leave of the fun decorations through the summer, but it is out with the old and in with something new now as we move into August.
Fourth Friday is tonight on our courthouse square. I am looking forward to it. We are going to blow bubbles out on the courthouse lawn with any kids that come. It is sure to be a nice evening!
I will not be in the store tomorrow (don't fear, the store will still be open 9-4) so I want to end our week with just one final picture of Kirk Cameron...
